Working safely at Pumpco, Inc. is an important part of our
company’s culture. Because most of our workforce has long service records with
the company (an average of 10 + years), our proactive emphasis on safety
training and awareness has helped them build a sound background in good safety
practices. Safety is never taken for granted or skirted to finish a job faster
or more cheaply. Starting with new hire orientation, employees sign a document
indicating that they understand Pumpco, Inc.’s safety procedures and are
continually reminded to make safety the top priority.
The following Pumpco, Inc. policies reinforce the
importance of personal safety:

Employees receive
the necessary training to perform their specific jobs and specialize in
performing their jobs – safely and efficiently, |

Employees are
promoted only after they have demonstrated their ability to perform their

All accidents,
including minor abrasions must be reported to line management the same day
they occur, |

A hospital visit
is available to an employee who reports any kind of an accident with a
possible hospital visit required at the discretion of reviewing management
and the employee, |

Accident Report
Forms are filled out on each incident, Workman’s Comp is notified and a
record is kept in the corporate headquarters, |

Employees can be
fired for violating Pumpco, Inc. safety procedures,

employees always work in teams of no less than two people to further ensure
that all work is carried out in a safe manner and to provide a buddy if
assistance is needed, |

Employees with
jobs requiring physical examinations or specific DOT certification (i.e. CDL-A
drivers) must keep and adhere to those rules, |

Pumpco, Inc.
provides health insurance after 12 months of service, covering 75% of plan
costs to encourage employees to safeguard their personal health and to
retain good employees, |

Pumpco, Inc.
provides a paid vacation policy for employees that includes one week after
three years of service and two weeks after five years to ensure that
long-term employees take appropriate breaks in their work schedules,

company-wide safety meetings for all employees are scheduled,

Talks’ on the job site cover specific safety issues associated with each
day’s work at every location, |
